Martvili Canyon is a protected natural area known for its vivid emerald waters. The site is divided into two main sections. A lower canyon hosts the river boat tours, while the upper canyon provides walking paths.
Tickets are purchased on-site. Expect to pay 20 GEL for foreign adult entry, plus 20 GEL for the boat. Operations depend on the weather. Boat tours are suspended without notice during high water levels.

Sturdy bridges cross the upper canyon sections to connect the walking trails. These platforms provide the best angles for taking photos of the river. Hold onto your phone tightly. The drop to the emerald water below is steep.
